What an aggregator changes

Jupiter can route a swap across available Solana liquidity instead of relying on one pool. Route selection aims to improve execution but can involve several programs and intermediate steps.

Review the output amount, price impact, fees and route before signing.

Wallet-first does not mean anonymous

A direct wallet connection normally avoids a centralised exchange account flow. Solana transactions remain public, and connected services can observe addresses and device data.

Fiat purchases, hosted wallets and regional frontends can introduce separate verification.

Token identity and liquidity risk

Anyone can create a token with a familiar name. Verify the mint address and token authorities rather than relying on ticker or artwork.

High price impact, concentrated liquidity and mutable token controls are reasons to avoid or reduce a trade.

Simulate and inspect before signing

Use the official domain, confirm the wallet prompt and avoid unlimited or unexplained permissions. A failed or malicious route can still consume network fees or expose approved assets.

A dedicated trading wallet limits the impact of a compromised session.
